How to Make Wildflower Seed Balls

Here is one crafty mom with her daughter Ale the “Garden Kid” cooking up some really cool seed balls. Spring is here and what better way to spread the spring fever than create your own seed balls and wrap them up to give away. Love that!

Patti Moreni is the quintessential and self-proclaimed “Garden Girl”. She has produced a number of great videos resources on her Garden Girl TV website.

The ingredients are simple. An item you will most likely have to order if you don’t have a local resource is the red clay. You will also need coco fiber, compost, and wildflower seeds. The compost and seeds can be found in your local hardware store or garden center.

The rest is a willingness to get your hands dirty and have fun with it. Makes a great spring gift!
