LEGO blocks are one of those toys that you never grow out of. I grew up with LEGOs and my daughter absolutely loves building with them.
Today, I’m sharing a fun and festive way to “play with LEGOs” but in the digital world.
When I was asked to test and make my own LEGO Minifigure Family postcard, I was intrigued to say the least. I started playing with the site just before my tween was due home from school. I thought I would surprise her.
The instructions are simple, and it is an easy three step process involved in creating and customizing your own Minifigure family postcard.
STEP 1: Add your family
This is where you can add as many family members (up to 13 including pets) into your postcard scene.
Then the fun is customizing and dressing each family member.
STEP 2: Set the scene
This is where you can choose from a variety of backgrounds and move around and arrange your LEGO Minifigure family.
You can also personalize your message in this step.
STEP 3: Share
Ok, once you’ve got your family Minifig-ed, how could you not share it?
You can download it and post it to various social channels easily.
This is the first one I did, not realizing I could change the hair of each of my family members.
Then my daughter had to come home from school and within seconds she was happily making her own Minifigure family postcard and showing me the part I missed.
I know I’m pretty computer savvy, but I am still amazed at how intuitive is to this generation.
Just for fun, I kept going and made another one.
We look pretty cozy on the North Pole, right? = )
