Best Mom Cupcakes with Coffee Filter hand dyed flowers #givebakery

Mother’s Day is coming up, and we are showcasing gift ideas inspired by treats that you can get in your local grocer’s bakery. Last year it was a success, and we were so touched by all of the responses we got from the Mother’s Day giveaway last year, that we are hosting another one this year.

It truly is so easy to find yummy treats in your grocer’s bakery, and dress them up to make a lovely gift idea.

We did it for Valentine’s Day with these fun free printables found here.

We did it for the holidays with pretty gift basket ideas and cookie mason jars here.

And we made fun party treat cups with mini brownies here.

But right now, it’s all about MOM and how to make her feel special.

You can dip coffee filters into water tinted with food coloring, and put them together in cupcake bouquet flower for a really pretty and crafty way to present a tasty treat to MOM.

How to Dip Dye Coffee Filters for Crafting

I did a clump of about 6 coffee filters at a time in different colors, and let them dry. I even double dipped some to get really pretty color mixing effects.

Then when they were dry, I fluffed them and arranged them into pretty flower shapes, perfect to nest a yummy cupcake or muffin treat.
