Mama's Litter Boo Homemade Iron On Onesie Gift

My neighbor and friend just had a baby boy about two weeks ago. It has been so fun to hold and cuddle with a little one again. My girl turns 13 next year, and I can’t believe how time flies. This is the same friend I gave the cute onesie flower gift basket. It was Spring when she announced her pregnancy, and now that it is Fall and Halloween around the corner, I couldn’t resist putting together one more onesie gift idea – perfect for Halloween.

I love my Silhouette Portrait cutting machine, and with the leftover heat transfer material I had from my last project—my 80’s inspired WHAM shirts– I used the blue color to make a cute iron on design on the front of a coordinating onesie I had picked out.

Silhouette Heat Transfer Baby Onesie Craft Idea

I created by design in the Silhouette Design Studio software with a mix between this ghost design and these two fonts from the Silhouette store:

  • Ghost Treat Bag (Design #48678)
  • LW Sweet Font ((Design #55104)
  • LW Sans Font (Design #54151)

And I cut my design out of the blue Silhouette heat transfer material. The trick is to make sure you cut the mirror image from your heat transfer sheet, so that when you place it on your material to iron it on, it will right reading.

Then it was time to iron it on and create one of the cutest custom onesies I’ve ever seen!

Love it!

So the question is, do I wrap it up like a cupcake onesie or not? hee -hee
