Or this post could be titled “How to Print and Cut Metallic Stickers to Dress up anything with Shine”.

I LOVE my Silhouette Cameo! And one of the the coolest things about using it is the PRINT and CUT function. Silhouette makes a variety of printable papers products such as silver foil, kraft paper, white sticker paper, tattoo paper—just to name a few.

I wanted to test out the silver foil sheets. So I created a page of fun sticker designs in the Silhouette Studio software from designs I bought on the Silhouette online store.

From the software, I made to sure to “show registration marks” and then I sent it straight to my inkjet printer. The silver foil sheet fed right in so easily and printed no problem.

After printing, I fed it through my Silhouette Cameo to first automatically read the registration marks, and then cut out my designs.

Then is was so fun picking out objects to dress up with my custom silver shiny labels.

First step, I turned an ordinary succulent pot into a dazzling gift idea.

Using painter’s tape, I taped off the top of my pot and applied a couple coats of pretty pink Azalea Patio Paint to the bottom of it.

And then I added sparkle to the dirt with some sparkly pink acrylic gems to the top. Both the Patio Paint and acrylic gems I found at my local Michaels.

The final touch, was added the metallic sticker that I had just print and cut. Amazing, right? Imagine brightening someone’s day with that!

These custom cut metallic stickers can dress up any gift, like gift bags…

… a candy tin decorated with washi tape on the sides…

….or even a pretty mason jar.

Lovely!
